What Your ACE Score Means
Your Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) score reflects the number of stressful or traumatic events you experienced before age 18.
A higher score is linked to an increased risk of physical and mental health challenges in adulthood, including anxiety, depression, chronic pain, and heart disease.
Early adversity can shape the nervous system, making it more reactive to stress and affecting emotional regulation.
The good news? Healing is possible. Yoga therapy offers a bottom-up approach to calming the nervous system, helping the body process stored stress and build resilience. Through breathwork, restorative yoga, and somatic practices, you can shift from survival mode to a state of balance and well-being.
You've taken an important step in understanding how early experiences may still be shaping your stress responses and emotional well-being. Awareness is the first step toward healing, and I’m honored to support you on this journey.
Over the next few days, I’ll be sending you a series of emails to help you explore how past experiences influence the nervous system and how somatic, body-based practices can support deep healing. These insights will help you move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and ease.
Be sure to check and confirm your email and confirm so you don’t miss out on any guidance, tools, or resources! I’ll see you in your inbox soon.
