Somatic Yoga for Chronic Stress and Anxiety
Online somatic yoga classes blend gentle movement, breathwork, and mindfulness to guide you out of survival mode and into a state of inner calm. Science-backed, body-based practices to help you release stress and breathe easier.
What makes these classes different?
These somatic yoga classes are designed to help you step out of survival mode and reconnect with your body’s natural ability to regulate stress.
Through gentle, restorative yoga practices, guided breathwork, and simple somatic tools, you’ll learn how to shift your nervous system away from overwhelm and back toward balance.
Each session blends movement, stillness, and nervous system education, giving you both an embodied experience of calm and practical tools you can use off the mat. Rather than pushing or striving, the focus is on slowing down, feeling supported, and noticing how small shifts in breath and body awareness can create a profound sense of ease.
Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, chronic stress, or just carrying the weight of daily responsibilities, this class offers a safe, trauma-informed space to release tension, replenish energy, and cultivate resilience from the inside out.

Hi there, I'm Ali!
Challenging relationships and life experiences can take a lasting toll on your nervous system, keeping you stuck in survival mode and disconnected from your own sense of peace.
As a Certified Yoga Therapist, I offer a trauma-informed, body-first approach to healing that draws on the science of neuroplasticity, the power of somatic movement, and the wisdom of yoga. These tools help you gently regulate your nervous system, release chronic stress and anxiety, and reconnect with clarity, courage, and self-trust.
I’ve walked this path myself. These tools have changed my life, and I know how powerful they can be in helping you feel safe in your body again—and confident in who you are.
Toxic stress shows up in many ways
Physically it might show up as body aches, headaches, digestive issues, trouble sleeping, always feeling on edge, protective closed in posture.
It might feel like fear, guilt, denial, grief, panic, anxiety, depression, anger, a sense of overwhelm or feeling stuck.
You may feel like you’re walking on eggshells, feel confused, have nightmares, not feel good enough, have a hard time concentrating or remembering things, feel suspicious, uncertain, have self-doubt or feel financially insecure.
You may find that you withdraw socially, you’re unable to rest even when you’re exhausted, have a loss or increase in appetite, change your social interactions, feel unseen and unheard.
If you’re healing from emotional trauma, no matter how long ago it occurred, I’d love to have you begin the journey of self-discovery and reconnecting with who you really are.
What People Are Saying about Somatic Yoga with Ali...
Healing from chronic stress and anxiety can be a lifelong journey
The stress from difficult relationships and circumstances affects every layer of who we are - physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
Maybe you feel disconnected from your body, unable to breathe deeply, feel unworthy or guilty or ashamed, you may lose trust in yourself and in your own judgement.
Maybe you feel a lack of clarity about who you really are and what you’re meant to do with your life.
These practices help you learn to build resilience and rebalance your nervous system, so you'll be better equipped to navigate the ups and downs of life with grace and ease.
We Can Learn to Heal
We're not stuck where we are—our brains are wired for change. Through the power of neuroplasticity, we can gently rewire old patterns and reconnect with our truest selves. Your experiences don’t define you—they can become the foundation for healing and growth. I’d be honored to walk with you on this journey back home to yourself.
